Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who showed a firearm and demanded cash at Family Dollar.
The incident happened at 240 North Lime Ave. in Sarasota at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night.
The suspect showed a black revolver with a wooden handle to the store clerk and demanded money. The employee was not injured, and gave the man an unknown amount of cash. The suspect left the store on foot.
He is described as a white male, thin build, and was last seen wearing dark clothing, sunglasses, a dark mask and light colored shoes.
