Sarasota police are partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration for a National Drug Takeback Initiative.
The event will allow the community to rid their homes of expired or unwanted prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 2099 Adams Lane in Sarasota.
No needles or liquids can be dropped off. Just pills or patches.

The service is free, and dropoff is anonymous with no questions asked.
