The Sarasota Police Department and Sarasota Emergency Services is investigating a four-vehicle crash involving a school bus near the intersection of US 301 and 17th Street in Sarasota.
The crash happened at approximately 8 a.m. on Friday.
Three children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. All other students on the school bus were put on another school bus.
The Sarasota Police Department is investigating one of the drivers of one of the cars for possible suspicion of DUI.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Police have not identified which school the bus was heading to.
