A 61-year-old Sarasota woman is in critical condition after she was struck by a hit and run driver on Tuesday evening.
Lynn Taylor has critical injuries and is currently at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. Troopers say Taylor was walking in an unknown direction on Gulf Gate Drive when an unknown vehicle struck her and then fled the scene.
