UPDATE | Candice James has been located.

The Sarasota Police department is asking for the public's assistance locating a missing and endangered woman.
According to police, around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 33-year-old Candice James texted friends that she was in the area of the 1700 block of South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, with a possible medical emergency. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Candice was last seen in person in the 500 block of Melody Circle at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday. She was last seen wearing a white tank top and black yoga style long pants.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Candice James is asked to call the Sarasota Police Department at 941-316-1199.
