It has been just over two weeks since first responders got a call for a serious bus crash involving several students with special needs in Sarasota.
The crash occurred at Practor and Gantt Road on April 11.
Seven students and two adults on the bus were taken to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries. One child was taken by helicopter as a trauma alert.
On Friday, Oak Park School hosted their fourth annual Panther Prowl where this year they hosted the first responders, medical personnel and others who assisted the students involved in the bus accident.
Dan Dunn, the driver of the bus, said the first concern was the students, "It felt like a bomb went off," he said.
The bus driver, aid and the students were released within the next day.
