NORTH PORT, Fla. — The North Port Police Department is searching for the parents of a toddler who was found Saturday morning.
Police shared a picture of the young boy with a plea for help. He was found off South Biscayne Boulevard.

The toddler is a white male approximately 3-years-old, with blonde hair. He was found wearing a red shirt and jean shorts.
Police checked nearby apartments, but were unable to find his family. They have contacted the Department of Children and Families.
