SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a collision involving a single vehicle and a pedestrian alongside the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Friday evening.
FHP said the pedestrian died as a result of his injuries. Due to the crash, there is only one lane open on Clark Road going east and one lane going west.
The Florida Highway Patrol is advising drivers to stay away from the area.
