Manatee County Deputies are investigating bones found in a field on Halloween. A neighbor going for a walk found the bones in a field near 16th Avenue E. and 61st Street E. near Palmetto.
"We’re trying to figure out who it is, we are looking at cases where someone has gone missing and we don’t just look in Manatee County, we are looking at surrounding areas,” said MCSO spokesperson Randy Warren.
Investigators said the bones were in the field for several months. They are expecting to determine who the person is by next week.
