BRADENTON, Fla. — A man is accused of stabbing a coworker to death on top of a lift machine in Bradenton Friday morning.
The Bradenton Police Department responded to a call of a stabbing at the Main Street Condominiums in the 200 block of 3rd Street West.
When officers arrived, they found the body of 48-year-old Rene Balditt with stab wounds on the lift machine.
Police later arrested his coworker Jessie Hernandez, 41.
During investigation, police learned that Balditt and Hernandez were working on top of the lift machine when they got into an altercation. Hernandez then took out a knife and stabbed Balditt multiple times, killing him.
This is still an active investigation. Police said charges are pending.
