LONGBOAT KEY, Fla. — All public beach access parking is closed in Longboat Key due to COVID-19, the city announced on Monday.
That includes parking at Overlook Park and Quick Point. Public restrooms at Bayfront Park and Joan Durante Park are also closed.
The closures come as COVID-19 cases increase throughout the state. They are effective June 30 until further notice.
