BRADENTON, Fla - Deputies in Manatee County are currently investigating a homicide. According to a release, deputies received a call about a shooting at around 9 p.m. Saturday night at 2608 17th Street East.
Witnesses heard gunfire and then saw a car go into a ditch. The driver of the car died. A second person got out of the car on the passenger side and fled on foot.
Deputies searched the area but did not locate the second person. The second person is described as a black male with a white shirt.
