Zenaida Antonio left her Bradenton home for Georgia during Hurricane Irma.

“I missed a week of work and now I’m having a hard time paying my rent,” said Antonio.

Antonio doesn’t speak English. She said she’s having a hard time navigating the process to get reimbursed for her lost wages.

“It was lots of money, because of the gas and expenses to eat,” said Antonio.

FEMA representatives said they have a Spanish speaking team that can deal with concerns from residents who don’t speak English.

“Its very important that they know that we have people here to help them,” said FEMA manager Rafael Velez.
