“Today we are sharing joy and filling tummies,” says Patricia Courtois, of the All Faiths Food Bank. “There is no shame here.”
The day-long drive-through event was built to feed 4,000 people, many of whom were first-time clients in need of assistance.
All Faiths Food Bank is seeing a staggering 40 percent increase in new families needing help during the pandemic.
As cars drove through the line, the National Guard and the Orioles stuffed trunks with fresh produce from area farms and 10,000 gallons of cold delicious milk from Dakin Dairy Farms.
