MANATEE COUNTY-The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at 9:55 p.m. on Sunday.
According to a release from the sheriff's office, two people were arguing outside of a residence, and the argument got physical.
One of the two people - the release does not identify the genders of those involved - was armed with a handgun. During the fight, one of the two people was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
