Track 'Bortie' the female loggerhead sea turtle released from Anna Maria Island

'Bortie' is a female loggerhead sea turtle and she was found nesting on Coquina Beach by officials with the Sea Turtle Conservancy.
Officials released 'Bortie' into the Gulf of Mexico from Anna Maria Island on Tuesday, June 19th and you can follow her along on her journey as she takes part in the 2018 Tour de Turtles.

As of Thursday morning, 'Bortie' had already traveled 20 miles into the Gulf at an average speed of .29 mph.
