Bartow Police are currently investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex. Police say that they responded to Azalea Gardens apartments at 1050 Golfview Avenue in Bartow at around 8:15 p.m. Saturday night.
Officers found a 27-year-old woman on the floor of a breezeway of an apartment building with a gunshot wound. Responding officers attempted to revive the unresponsive woman with CPR. The woman was transported to Bartow Regional Medical Center, but died from her injuries.
Police have not released names of possible suspects.
