Trio takes stolen Polk County bus on joy ride, two arrested, one on the run

Two white males and a white female stole a Polk County school bus from a vacant lot in Polk County around October 12 or October 13. 

The bus was discovered missing by the bus driver who went to start her pick up route. 

The bus had been driven to Avon Park in Highlands County. 

When police searched the bus, onboard video showed the suspects and police identified all three. 

Highlands County Sheriff's Office worked with Polk County Sheriff's Office to arrest 33-year-old Jayson Kalinowski, of Lake Placid, and 31-year-old David Keen, of Sebring. They are currently in the Highland’s County Jail.

Keen is charged with Grand Theft Motor Vehicle, Burglary of a Conveyance, and Petit Theft. Kalinowski is charged with Grand Theft Motor Vehicle and Burglary of a Conveyance. 

The third suspect, 36-year-old Kim Loeb, of Sebring, is wanted in connection and faces charges of Grand Theft Motor Vehicle and Burglary of Conveyance.
