UPDATE — Rena Coolen has been located and reunited with her family.
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- Police in Winter Haven are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 73-year-old woman last seen visiting her husband at the hospital.
Winter Haven police say Rena Coolen visited the Winter Haven Hospital Tuesday and left at about 7 p.m. Officers have checked her home in Lakeland numerous times but has not been seen.
Cooley is believed to be driving a tan 2011 Chevrolet Malibu with a Florida tag LLSH49. She was at the hospital wearing a black dress, according to police.
Police believe Cooley may be showing early signs of dementia.
