Polk County's LGBT organizations are celebrating Pride with multiple events this week

The Lakeland Youth Alliance and PFLAG of Polk County are inviting you to join them at Polk Pride events celebrating the diversity of the LBGT community.

Schedule of events:

Thursday, June 16 - 7:00 p.m.: Pride in Faith
Interfaith worship service with Polk County's faith-based LGBT affirming organizations.
St. David's Episcopal Church, 145 E. Edgewood Drive, Lakeland

Friday, June 17 - 7:00 p.m.: Icons: The Lesbian and Gay History of the World
Jade Esteban Estrada takes you on a hilarious, musical trip through time with the most notable names in lesbian and gay history.

Lake Mirror Theater, 121 S. Lake Avenue, Lakeland

Saturday, June 18 - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Pride in the Park
Family-friendly event with live entertainment, food trucks and community organizations.
Munn Park, downtown Lakeland

Saturday, June 18 - 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.: Pride After Dark
Kathryn Nevets hosts the evening featuring live music and a Pride themed drag show.
Ages 18 and up. ID required.
Club Main Street, 1295 E. Main Street, Lakeland

Sunday, June 19 - 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Pride Talks
Discussion on important issues, legislation and topics affecting the LGBT community.
