LAKELAND, Fla. — A man was injured after officials said he drove into a Polk County Waffle House early Monday morning.
The Lakeland Police Department said a Nissan SUV crashed into the building at 2312 Florida Avenue around 1 a.m.
The driver, 65, was the only person inside the vehicle during the crash. He suffered minor injuries.
No one else was injured.
