Polk County deputies aren't just there to serve humans, they are a full-service law enforcement agency!
They proved that Thursday afternoon when Deputy Herrera helped a baby gator cross Shepherd Rd. in Lakeland.
The gator was trying to get across the street and into an old phosphate pit.
How did the baby gator cross the road? With the assistance of Deputy Herrera of course! (video taken on Shepherd Rd in Lkld, gator went into old phosphate pit) “PCSO - we are a full-service law enforcement agency” #gatorcrossing #onlyinPolk 👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/JykQjVxc5Q
