Monday is the last day to make sure a child in need gets a new pair of shoes under the Christmas tree this year.
Madeira Beach Fundamental School is collecting new sneakers for students at nearby Title One schools.
At least 40 percent of kids there come from low-income families.
The campaign started nine years ago, and last year they broke a school record and collected more than 200 pairs of shoes.
Shoes can be dropped off at Madeira Beach Fundamental School, located at 591 Tom Stuart Cswy, Madeira Beach, FL 33708.
