A 25-year-old inmate has been charged with murder in a fatal shooting in Gulfport.
Jeffrey Stephens, who is in prison on unrelated charges, killed Michael Dayton, 41, in March, according to the Gulfport Police Department.
Police believe Dayton, 41, was killed after an attempt to set up a purchase of crack cocaine.
