Her cancer is in remission but she wants to help her friends who are still fighting.

She has been raising money for the past few years for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Alex, was an eight year old from Connecticut who died in 2004.

Caroline said since lemonade is cold, and its cold outside, she wanted to do hot chocolate.

“It’s getting really cold, and lemonade is cold also, so, hot chocolate can warm you up,” said Caroline.

Each year, Caroline has raised more money.

The first year Caroline raised $50. Last year, she raised more than $800 and this year she hopes to raise more than $2,000.
