Sand Key Park, located at 1060 Gulf Blvd. in Clearwater, will reopen at 7 a.m.on Saturday, Sept. 10.
The park closed in the interest of public safety due to impacts associated with Hurricane Hermine.
Parks and Conservation Resources staff worked hard to mitigate flooding issues caused by abnormally high amounts of rain and overwash from the Gulf of Mexico. The standing water issues have been alleviated.
