Reclaimed water main damaged in St. Pete Beach

A distribution main that supplies the beach communities in Pinellas County with reclaim water service has been damaged by a drilling contractor working at the intersection of 54th Ave N. and Park Street, according to a news release from the City of St. Pete Beach.

Pinellas County Utilities is working to repair the damaged section of the reclaim water main, which is a 36 inch diameter pipe, and is 26 feet deep. It could take two days to finish, according to the release.
