ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A woman has been arrested and charged with second degree murder after stabbing a man to death in St. Petersburg Monday morning.
The St. Petersburg Police Department said 38-year-old Erica Deliford stabbed 46-year-old Antonio Swain in an alleyway in the 2000 block of Queensboro Ave S. shortly after 3:00 a.m.
Police said they were able to located and arrested Deliford after she left the scene.
Deliford is facing one charge of second degree murder and a felony drug charge.
Deliford and Swain were involved in an on-again-off-again relationship, according to police.
At this time, it is unknown why Deliford stabbed Swain.
