ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. --- A man is in critical but stable condition after his father shot him Saturday morning, police say.
Police said the shooting occurred at 6980 21st Street North at around 4:30 a.m. A father and a son were involved in an ongoing argument.

Both the son, Austin Cornett, and the father, Craig Cornett, had weapons. The father fired his weapon and injured his son.
Austin is in critical but stable condition.
This case is still under investigation. Police said charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
