St. Petersburg Police are searching for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian overnight.
It happened at about 12:15 Friday morning at Central Ave. and 34th St.
Police are looking for a 2010-2012 white Nissan Altima sedan with left front damage and a missing left front fog light bezel (pictured below).
Authorities say the victim, 58-year-old Allen Sowards, "walked into 34th St. and sat in the road near 1st Ave. S."
The Altima, traveling northbound, hit him and drove off.
