Police investigate two fatal shootings in southern Pinellas County

Police in Pinellas County are investigating two fatal shootings that occurred late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. 

At approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, Gulfport Police responded to a report of an armed person in the 2600 block of Miriam Street South in Gulfport. Once they arrived on scene, police found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Gulfport PD is investigating the shooting and working on leads but at this time, the suspect is unknown.

Another fatal shooting is under investigation in St. Petersburg. The call came in at 3:02 a.m. and when St. Pete police arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound at 3074 18th Avenue South. He was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased. Witnesses are currently being interviewed. At this time, the suspect is unknown. The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Lamant Lisbon, of St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg police say Lisbon was shot just outside the door, in the parking lot of the Crab Paradise rental pool hall. He died while he was being transported to the hospital. Investigators say some sort of dispute led to the shooting.

There is no indication that these two shootings are related.
