Deputies say a Pinellas County woman left her kids alone in a hotel room while she went out drinking for six hours.
Claudia Costa, 52, is facing neglect and disorderly conduct charges after she left her 10-year-old and 13-year-old kids to wander the Trade Winds resort in St. Petersburg over the weekend.
At the same time, deputies say Costa crashed a private party and began threatening staff at the bar. When deputies arrived, she refused to exit the party.
Costa was released on bond with an ankle monitor.
