Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Detectives from the Robbery/Homicide Unit are conducting a death investigation in St. Petersburg Beach.
Deputies say they received a call at about 1:46 p.m. on Thursday informing them of a body near the intersection of 78th Avenue and Coquina Way.
When deputies arrived they located the deceased adult male victim.
The victim died under suspicious circumstances, according to deputies.
The identify of the victim is not being released at this time. And detectives are interviewing a second male subject.
Detectives say there is no threat to the public.
