PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — A pedestrian was transported as a trauma alert after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon.

The Pinellas Park Police Department said the pedestrian was hit on 110th Avenue near US Hwy 19.

After being hit, the pedestrian was transported as a trauma alert to Bayfront.

At this time, no further details have been released.
