PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Babycycle Diaper Bank put out a call to the community on Wednesday asking for donations of larger-sized diapers.

In an Instagram post, the diaper bank said it's running "very very low" on sizes four, five, six, and all sizes of pull-ups. According to its website, Babycycle is the only community diaper bank in Pinellas County.

We spoke to Torrie Jasuwan with Babycyle in July who said the bank is seeing an increase in requests because of the pandemic.

“During the pandemic, we are experiencing requests three to four times higher than normal right now,” said Jasuwan. “Many of them are between a rock and a hard place and not being able to pay for diapers and wipes because they are barely able to pay for their electricity or rent.”

You can visit Babycycle's website to find a drop-off location and find other ways to get involved. You can also donate through the bank's Amazon wishlist.
