PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — There were no major injuries after a car crashed into a home on Friday.
Florida Highway Patrol said the vehicle pulled into the driveway of 3903 Lake Shore Drive. The driver was picking up residents of the home.

The driver, Lillian Sawyer, 95, mistakenly accelerated into the garage door of the home. The vehicle collided with load-bearing walls.
Sawyer suffered minor injuries and no one else was injured in the home.
Members of the Palm Harbor Fire Department and Pfeifers towing assisted in the accident.
