A 29-year-old Pinellas Park man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief after he threw a fit over his lost cell phone at a bowling alley in Seminole early Sunday, July 31.

Westley James Dean reportedly lost his cell phone on Sunday while hanging out at the Seminole Lanes bowling alley and he became upset with the business for not helping him find it. As he left the building just after midnight, he stormed out of the west entrance and swung the glass door open in a very aggressive manner, causing the door to shatter against the concrete curb. The owner of the business told him that the damage would be around $1,000 to fix the door.

Dean admitted to breaking the door and he later found his cell phone in the parking lot of the bowling alley.

Dean was charged with criminal mischief, booked into the Pinellas County Jail at 2:42 a.m. and he bonded out ($1,000 bond) at 12:37 a.m. on Monday, August 1.
