St. Pete PD is investigating a fatal shooting that happened at a convenience store Sunday night.
It happened at the Quick Stop Beer and Wine store located at 1440 49th St. S at about 7:45 p.m.
Police say there was a large crowd gathered there when shots were fired.
Authorities say two men were injured and transported to the hospital. Dameion Cookinson, 34, died at the hospital and the other victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
