PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A man was arrested after officials say he was driving 145 mph on the Pinellas Bayside Bridge.
According to the affidavit, 23-year-old Luke Niemi was monitored by the Pinellas County Sheriff's helicopter on the Bayside Bridge driving at 145 mph. Officials say he was driving a motorcycle.

Officials said he had total disregard for safety on the defendant and other vehicles on the roadway.
Niemi said he was "having some fun."
The affidavit says the man also has unpaid citations in the state of Wisconsin as well.
Niemi was arrested and charged with reckless driving.
