A Lutz man was arrested for firing after firing a gun out of an open sunroof on the Memorial Causeway Bridge.
Police say around 9 a.m. Saturday the received several calls about a Volvo going west on the Causeway with the driver shooting a gun out the car.
Officers searched for the car and found it minutes later at the 500 block of Gulfview Boulevard. Police arrested Jelani Dixon for discharging a firearm from a vehicle in public.
No pedestrians on the bridge at the time of the incident were injured.
Dixon was transported to Pinellas County Jail. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
