ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A 14-year-old stole a car from a family friend early Friday morning and crashed into a St. Pete home, police say.
Officers say the 14-year-old lost control and crashed before 5 a.m. The suspect and a juvenile passenger were both injured in the crash, according to police.

The 14-year-old suffered minor injuries and the passenger suffered cuts and bruises, police say. They were both taken to All Children's Hospital for treatment.
No one was inside the home at the time. There was some exterior damage, but police say the home didn't suffer any structural damage.
