The Florida Department of Health is bringing back it's back-to-school dental clinic this weekend to help sends kids back to class with a healthy smile.

On Saturday, July 16, the clinic will provide free dental exams and X-rays for children ages 4-18.

"Dental hygiene is the prevention for tooth decay. If that's not being kept up with, a child can develop tooth decay or periodontal conditions that can be very painful," says DOH Senior Dentist Haychell Saraydar.

Appointments are not needed. Children will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. A parent or guardian must be with the child in need of dental care.

The free dental clinic is at 6350 76th Ave N. Doors open Saturday at 8am.
