ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- A "fork-free" chicken-and-waffle concept that has become a social media sensation is making its way to St. Petersburg.
Chick'nCone is expected to open a new location in downtown St. Petersburg, just a few blocks away from Tropicana Field. According to the restaurant's location map, it is expected to open near Charles Court South and 5th Street South.
Chick'nCone has gained popularity among foodies on social media for their chicken nuggets being served inside a waffle cone. These on-the-go treats are $8 and a side of cajun fries cost $4.
Creative Loafing Tampa reports the downtown St. Pete location is expected to open before 2020.
