PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Florida's first medical marijuana drive-thru dispensary opens on Tuesday in Palm Harbor.
Curaleaf is opening a dispensary with a new customer service feature that has online ordering and drive-thru service for existing customers.
In a press release, the company states that first-time patients are required to visit the dispensary for a private consultation.
The east coast based company says that patients can order medical cannabis products online with the option to pick up orders at the dispensary's secure drive-thru.
According to Curaleaf, "you have a lot of patients that have a difficult time getting out of their car, so this just enables us to offer them that type of service so that they are better treated and taken care of."
The grand opening is at 3 p.m. at the new location at 35388 US Highway 19 North in Palm Harbor.
