Pinellas County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating three suspects who burglarized a home in Safety Harbor.
The three suspects forced their way into the home on Harbor Oaks Circle on Wednesday at about 9:55 a.m., according to detectives.
The master bedroom was ransacked. Items stolen included ladies jewelry and men's watches valued at $2,200.
The burglary was captured by the victim's surveillance video.
Detectives describe the suspects as three black males in their late teens or early 20's.
- Suspect #1: Described as a black male, 16-25 years of age with a short haircut to mini-afro. He was last seen wearing a red tee shirt with a white circle across the front with a tree-like image within the circle. He was wearing white "cut-off" jean shorts and black sneakers.
- Suspect #2: Described as a black male, 16-25 years of age, and thin build. He was last seen wearing a white tee shirt and dark colored pants.
- Suspect #3: Described as a black male, 16-25 years of age, thin build, and a short haircut to mini-afro. He was wearing a dark shirt with white or yellow horizontal stripes and gray sweat pants.
According to detectives, shortly thereafter, Clearwater Police Department reported a nearby occupied residential burglary attempt in their jurisdiction that detectives believe are related. Three black males were seen fleeing from the residence in a stolen green, Toyota Rav 4, Florida tag L49OEG.
Detectives say the vehicle was stolen out of Clearwater last week.
