Construction will begin on a connection between two potable water pipes at 16th Avenue SE and Seminole Boulevard in Largo on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The construction, which will be conducted by Pinellas County utilities workers, will take about 10 days.
All northbound lanes of Seminole at 16th Avenue SE will be closed. Southbound lanes will not be impacted, according to a release from Pinellas County.
The workers will be connecting a 20-inch and a 36-inch pipe to give the county's Logan Pump Station a better water supply to maintain water quality. A portion of the 36-inch pipe was damaged during construction.
