The Chihuly Collection will re-open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 15 after closing in July.
The new location is 720 Central Avenue, and has about 4,200 square feet of outdoor space, a retail store and an expanded temporary exhibition space that will feature national exhibits. The collection closed on July 31 after being housed at 400 Beach Drive.
A homecoming celebration welcoming the Chihuly Collection to Central Avenue will be held on Friday, Oct. 14. On Saturday, a ribbon cutting will be held at 9:30 a.m., with the doors opening after that.
