DUNEDIN, Fla. — Best-selling author and illustrator Jenipher Lyn wants you to “find your rainbow” in 2020.
She believes the key to happiness starts with doodling.
The talented Dunedin mom’s hit book Find Your Rainbow urges young women to use writing and drawing to boost self-esteem and inner peace.
Lyn’s book is really aimed at anyone feeling a little lost in these days of social-media craziness.
“I hope it helps people want to be exactly who they are,” Lyn says. “And know that whoever they are is okay.”
Lyn admits to suffering self-esteem issues in the past, but realized filling a page with doodle and drawings of her thoughts and feelings had great benefits.
“Life is hard,” Lyn says. “And there’s so much stuff around us telling us who we should be and what we should look like and what we should do for a living. We should stop that.”
