Police departments and emergency medical services across the country were left scrambling Monday evening as there were reports of the 911 service being down.

While many police departments say 911 services are back up and running, Pinellas County is telling residents in need of emergency help to call 727-582-5990. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue did not say they are having issues but their non-emergency line is listed as 813-272-5665.

As of Monday night, officials did not say what caused the outages to take place in the first place.
