Three firemen injured in a four-alarm fire at the Wal-Mart in Largo were treated and released after suffering from dehydration and heat exposure.

One of the fire medics was treated at Morton Plant Hospital and released Wednesday evening.

Video by ABC Action News reporter Nicole Grigg captured fire medic Doug Wood being carried to an ambulance by two other firemen.

Following the incident, Nicole Grigg posted a video on Facebookthanking him, and more than 30,000 people have watched the video and thanked Wood for doing what he does.

Wood tells us by email that he appreciates the video showing what first responders face while on the job.

Twenty-two fire units responded to the fire off US Highway 19 N.

Wood said having to call his wife to tell her what happened was one of the hardest things he's had to do.

ABC Action News recognizes all our first responders.
